Performance
Carly started her performance journey at a young age, studying musical theater and taking part in Off-Broadway productions during her youth. Her rich theater and acting experience has seamlessly transitioned into the world of opera, where she is celebrated as a versatile and innovative singing actress. Beyond traditional operatic and concert repertoire, Carly is dedicated to new music, often collaborating with contemporary composers, debuting roles in new chamber operas, premiering concert works, and recording vocals for studio projects.
As a passionate advocate for youth involvement in opera, Carly focused her doctoral research on creating a practical guide for industry professionals seeking to more effectively perform opera for young audiences. In the realm of children's opera, Carly collaborated with English Touring Opera to produce and perform the U.S. premiere of Back into the World; debuted the role of Julie in the U.S. premiere of Pacamambo with Philadelphia's Live/Wire Opera Company; and performed the one-woman children’s opera, The Vagabond Queen, at Shenandoah Conservatory.

Carly currently performs professionally at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan. She has experience cantoring, section leading, and singing in professional quartets for choirs and religious organizations across the country.
